Mission: Music From the 89th parallel
Tuesday evenings 11:11 P.M. CST/12:11 P.M. EST
My name is eted, Agent eted, on a secret mission, recording this message from the Black Ops Agency secret headquarters. Seeking out the most unknown, unusual, and unsung sound and music coming out of and coming through the Sangamon region, specifically 89.38 º W Lattitude X 39.48 º N Longitude. Here we recently discovered an upsurge in activity leading to a possible cultural revival in which local creativity has been issuing forth in an unbridled explosion of inspiration and spirit. While underground and incognito, I will therefore routinely submit these sound reports from the field. This message will self-destruct in 30 minutes.
This mission came down from the mysterious organization known as "The producers" formerly known as "The Outsiders." They made special devices available to various "agents" across the 89th Parallel with red lights, code named: the red light machines which were capable of transynchronous travel and information projection. Each agent had to keep their presence unknown as they collected vibration hubs along the timeline generated across the parallel. As a result of the time distortions and shift sickness, the agents were instructed to amuse themselves by portraying the 'Hey That's My Bike' Pit Orchestra which ended up serving as an adequate alibi for the trouble encountered early in the mission when Agent eted was attacked by members of the Outsiders organization and replaced by a droid vessel operated by Zarvox, Outsider insider. At this time it was revealed to Agent eted that the Outsiders were responsible for the attack as part of the deep cover involved in the over-arching mission details. Eventually he was returned to his position on the planet and his timeline was fused with one in which the attack never took place and where the Outsiders changed their nomenclature to The Producers.
Eventually, the home base of the "Hey That's My Bike" Pit Orchestra, The Hotel Farfisa in sunny Las Vegas, Colorado, was blown up for unbkown reasons, destroying everything there. The only thing that remians are the numerous archives which are reviewed again from time to time. New live, in-studio operations and alibis proceed and are archived as well for future review.
Also, as a result of the time distortions, the 30 minutes for each field sound report was stretched to apporoximately 45 minutes.
The true nature of the mission remains classified to this day.
