Get ready for Punk done Chicago-Style from Chi-town's own underground punk label Failed Experiment!!! First out of the gate for adds this year we have the uber-hot chick band, The Groodies--think Sahara Hot Nights and The Gits! Then there is Shattered Angel, the pop-punk masters from the Windy City--don't be fooled by the sensitive name, these boys rawk hard!
We have a new package going out this Friday, and we decided to break up the add dates a bit so it wasn't so overwhelming to review--please read the stickers and don't lose them! It is all really killer music and I think you will be really happy with our Spring bands! (We've been working very hard to find GOOD independent bands that were in need of a Spacey Fairy God-Mother! :)

Yes, I am BACK! The tales of my demise were greatly exaggerated! Right now, I am just going to do a quick entry of the goods Santa brought me this year! (Which is a very good thing, because since I graduated, I am actually quite poor and can't afford to buy any cool stuff!) The BIG gift was a nifty satellite cd deck/radio for my car--my parents wanted to encourage me to visit more often, so they figured non-stop tune-age for the 14 hour drive home was a good choice! I also got a new studded cuff watch, some clothing, and my hair streaked red...which my co-workers are thankful for, since they really were getting sick of my usual office Juicy Couture, heh. I also got pilates exercise ball and hoop thingy, (for those resolutions I am breaking as I type,) and some other random trinkets! So I made out like a bandit, me thinks!
I also have a special holiday mention! Thanks go out to Nick from WOWL-FM for getting me my very own Dresden Doll's signed CD and cool stuff from the DD themselves! The package was so pretty, I nearly fell on the floor when I opened it! It's truly one of the sweetest things anyone's ever done for me, since I had only mentioned in passing to him that I really wanted the CD...but I couldn't afford to go out and buy it right now--Nick you rock! (I am suppose to be sending you guys all the tunes right? Yeah it blew me away!) Also thanks to go out to Mike from WTCC, and everyone who sent me cards, called, emailed, and wished me a happy holiday! (I am proud to report that my rents are back in their house finally, after it had burned back in September!)
Please let me know what you guys have been getting into while I was gone, and I look forward to having another kick-ass quarter of great music!
