***DIARY OF A TEXAS GIRL LOST IN THE MIDWEST***
Keeping with the short nature today...yes, I am finally more un-sick and back
in-office! (Don't make me laugh or I'll cough on you.)
The Texas medical stuff aforementioned in the last email I sent out went along
ok, except for on the way there I caught a nice bought of the flu from the plane
ride down to the Lone Star State! (So on the way back, when we were landing
in St. Louis I wanted to scream, "land the darn plane already!"--due
to the change in cabin pressure, it felt like an ice-pick was grinding at my
brain, as my head was trying to implode--and I swear the pilot decided to take
the super-scenic route down...)
I have a few other good airport horror stories, but I'll stop here--let's just
say I give the Columbia Regional airport a D-, and now know why everyone pays
the $60 to take the MO-EX to St. Louis.
On the sunny-side Lewis Black, and Dave Attell are going to be doing a show
in St. Louis in December!! I feakin' love Dave Attell, and Insomniac...I am
so stoked. Lewis Black is pretty classic too...
Transmission out.
