We had an *AWESOME* week at radio, we asked you to bring it for SKINNY PUPPY and you did! We are still holding REALLY high at #6--which is so beyond cool, keep spinning and loving the puppy! Tomorrow we are mailing out the AALACHO vinyl and the Space 380 black canvas record bags, if you asked for one--let me know if you want one, since the quantity is a bit limited.
ALLACHO is doing well on the RPM chart...but we all need to work together to get them higher--I mean come on...there is a really killer FELIX DA HOUSECAT mix...and Felix is the man! Also we are needing to get spins up on ANDROGENE! Summer's almost gone...and we are slowing down for a minute before the storm of fall! A short diary this week:
I have to be totally out of my old apartment tomorrow, as the apartment management jerks are going to inspect it...and I must be present so they won't charge me for things that aren't there--which means I might miss a few hours of work tomorrow morning. I've head rumors that even if you clean the heck out of your apartment...that not only will you not get your deposit back, but they will find a reason to charge you even more!! (Many of you guys are in college...and so I say to you, NEVER rent form Jefferson Commons, ever, they are EVIL--and are pretty the slumlords, of next generation housing.) My new apartment is happily painted Belladonna Yellow now, and my friend Willow was super cool and helped be finish it last night...which was almost pointless in a way, because I only have one sad 4 ft ladder!! (Willow's parents were evil hippies and named her Willow, her sister Fern and he brother Mota--which is Spanish slang for "pot." They also gave them their own hippie-fied unique surnames!)
Huffman is going to help me move the big stuff tonight...even though I really don't own anything...but it's nice to have friends that are willing to schlep your TV for you! I am hoping that after everything is said and done, I'll get to go hang with my bf in STL (St Louis) this weekend--but the way things are going I am not holding my breath.
Oh and I saw Napoleon Dynamite last week...I really want to say it was worth the hype! In fact, I've never seen Rag-Tag Cinema Cafe, ( http://www.ragtagfilm.com/ ) The indie theatre here--so freakin' packed on a Tuesday night! Since it isn't showing in the lame mega-screen place that only seems to show 6 bad movies on their 20 screens each week!TRANSMISSION OUT.
